Here it goes

You now have

iraqi popular army, iraqi infantry, mechanized infantry, republican guards, Maghawir commandos and Special Forces (last two may get a change of uniform later)

They have new small arms with dedicated ammo and separate values : an AKM is not a type 56 is not a Ceska Zbrojovka vz. 58 and so on..

Light machine guns RPD, RPK, PK, Type 67...

Radar guided ZPU 4 (this is a nice weapon to have, also against btrs etc.., one stand alone , one carried by a MT-LB)

Tanks : Lion of Babylon T-72 etc..

Planes: new SU-24

it's nice to hear the different sounds from a same unit when they attack !


@unlukey fixed the "Leclerc has no ammo for main gun" but will have to wait untill next upload..

I cleaned up the iraqi roster, they now only have the actual hardware they had

made a new sprite : the T-59 (will be in next upload)

Shouldn’t the correct name be Type 59?

Also, I am actually yet to see the solid evidence of Type 59-II in Iraqi service. It could be obsolete sources mixed it with Type-69-II, which was a fairly capable model. It had a more modern FCS than T-72M1, which included a laser rangefinder, 2-axis gun stabilization, and a BCLA ballistic computer. Chinese also delivered Type 86 APFSDS which provided better capability than BM-15 round.

So I made a few variants of chinese Type-59sv and Type 69s and some weapons and ammo. I changed the names to Type 59.. etc.

Maybe not (yet) historically accurate, any info is welcome (tanks/guns/ammo).

I removed some of the iraqi armor, gave them a percentage according to how many they had in RL

remade the ZSU-24 shilka for iraq and a new turret for the Rep Guards bmp-1

I think we are in two playing this.. but it's ok

Here is the latest (yes when you start it's still K15)

Now the iraqi mostly have the same RL yellow paint, I didn't list all the changes but the tanks and infantry have different weapons with their ammo (don't know if my changes to the ammunitions like the PKT vs the original 7.62 #13 ammo will make any difference ingame but... When I modded the imperial japanese submarines for SH4 back in the days I also modded all weapons and ammo too so..

Hi, is this still the case. Says I am missing a wav file or two. They must be part of one of the dlc's I don't have yet.
