Attack reports

Post by marcpennington »

I recently found turning off detailed attack reports during the turn execution makes the game notably more aesthetically pleasing--- mostly tied to the freeze in animation of the floating numbers and fire effects that happens when the report pop-up shows up, and the way the animation then resumes and carries over to the next battle.

But that said, I would still like to be able to look at the detailed combat results when I want to, but clicking on the line of the combat in the history report doesn't pull the attack report up, as I assume it should.

I may be missing something very obvious here, so if anyone could point me to how to get the detailed attack reports after the fact, I'd appreciate it.

I think if u click on the regiment then click on that piece of paper you can read the old attack reports. I turned it off and found the game pace 2x more pleasing for me then when it was on.
I hope this answers your question.

Thanks--- that does work to show the most recent time a regiment has fired, and I hadn't noticed that before.

That said, is there a way to get older attack reports or the attack reports when an enemy fires after the fact? It seems like the button in the history screen that jumps to a combat location should also bring up the attack report, but it doesn't appear to.
