When and What will be the next BAB edition?

I've very much enjoyed playing BAB especially on the Manassas scenario for 2 players. It seems an ideal system for large battle field manouevres and tactics through the enlarged maps and its regimental scale combined with the innovative brigade modes and other interesting features.

I know we won't be getting Gettysburg next time but are you folks ready to share with us which big battles will be appearing next and when the second edition is scheduled for release? Hopefully the relaunch through the second edition will encourage more players to sample what is a great game and to widen its player community.

We're not ready to discuss release dates or a lot of details, but we do have a plan agreed for the next release and Gil and Eric are moving forward with that.

For now I can just say that BAB#2 will have a much larger battle, and one that took more than a day to complete. As will be true of BAB#3 (and, come to think of it, the next few BAB releases that I can think of).

The only other clue I'll drop for now is that we have no intention of moving on to 1864 battles until 1862 and 1863 are exhausted. But, of course, as anyone who knows the Civil War will know, that's not much of a clue.[;)]
