Failure to deploy / recall skirmishers

Failure to deploy / recall skirmishers

Playing the "Starter" scenario as Union. I noticed that when a unit fails either to deploy or recall skirmishers the following occurs:

1. Message indicating failure.
2. Unit loses all MPs, indicated by red check mark over the unit.

However, the valid movement hexes (previous to the failure) are still highlighted in Cyan. If you left click on any of theses hexes the unit will move to that hex. But if you deselect the unit or left click on the unit again, the valid movement hexes (cyan colored)disappear and the unit cannot move.

Is this a bug??

no that's by design, you asked it to do something and they failed doing it

My question is, after they failed why am I still able to move the unit as long as I don't click on it again? I would think once the unit failed to deploy / recall skirmishers and losing all MPs (as indicated by the red check mark)you wouldn't be able to move the unit.

ah sorry, if you have any MP left after the failed deploy, then you can move again while it's selected i think, but maybe better to wait for a better answer from devs as i'm no expert at all tbh, not read the manual either as yet so don't know it all, but do try, but sometimes get it wrong, seems about 50% of the time atm i'm sorry to say[:(]
