The game, Campaign Series Middle East 1948 - 1985, has created quite a stir on our clubs FB to the point that I've decided to join the many others, playing this game. Our group is the Wargamers Club for Gentlemen, or shortened to WGCG. Our clubs credo is stated clearly when you first enter the website. These written words that define us are "... THE CLUB IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING A FRIENDLY AND ENJOYABLE PLACE FOR WARGAMERS TO MEET TOGETHER. FROM ANCIENT TO NAPOLEON AND THROUGH TO MODERN WAR, ALL GAMES AND ERAs' ARE SUPPORTED. MEMBERS ARE WELCOME WHETHER YOU ARE GAMERS, TABLETOP PLAYERS, MINIATURES, OR JUST WANT TO TAKE A LOOK AROUND." The club is very well managed and led by the man who formed it, Peter Jeavons. Everything said in those few words are true and finding a club that achieves their goals is refreshing. We have many leagues in the club that support Matrix/Slitherine, John Tiller, & HPS titles as well any title that can be played using the VASSAL/VASL engine. Any wargame, computer based or played on a board/map or table is welcomed and will be league sanctioned. We have a very active and informative Face Book too. So if you have an interest in wargaming come visit us.
