Opportunity Fire

Post by carll11 »

Yea, my latest glitch?;)

I assign an 'N' for never to my Hard vehicles, for 'Other' which of course includes infantry....and yet, they continue to fire at Infantry. I don't have any units selected etc. when I make the assignment.....its infuriating, anyone getting similar issue(s)?

If you open the Opportunity Fire Dialog with unit(s) selected, it sets the opfire for the unit(s) only. If you want to set opfire globally, make sure that no unit is selected (press the mouse on some empty hex). Then open the Opportunity Fire Dialog. Anything you set there should then apply to all units.

Apart from that possibility, we have no reason to believe that the opfire mechanism is not WAD.
