BETA CSME 2.31 PATCH

Good day.

It seems there were some organization edits that was flagging some errors when trying to open the ORG editor.

The following BETA 2.31 PATCH will remedy these until we release a proper 2.31 UPDATE later in the fall.

Inside are:
1. Reverted scenarios back to original point status. That should correct the issue noted below.

2. a new meengine.exe, this has the LOS modified based on Schlonz's feedback when attacking positions with special defences.

3. a new meengine.exe that also fixes the raft issue.

4. the previous OOB edits.

How to install:

1. CREATE A COPY of your 2.30 Installation. (Literally, just copy and paste the whole folder. You can rename this folder "Campaign Series Middle East BETA" or whatever you want.)

2. Unzip the contents of this Zip file into that folder and overwrite what it asks you to overwrite.

==== 2. ALTERNATIVE === Unzip the contents into a temporary folder and then copy and paste those contents into Campaign Series Middle East BETA

3. In the Campaign Series Middle East BETA folder, Right click on the Middle East.exe and create a DESKTOP Shortcut.

4. Rename the new Desktop Shortcut to CSME 2.31 So you know it is accessing a different installation!

A couple of things. It appears that the help/about file still says version 2.30.00 with the March 2023 date, is that right?

Also, I had to make sure the new .exe's were set to run as administrator for them to start on my machine.

Yes, the About date won't change for now until a different EXE is revised.

Also yes, my EXE's needed to be set as "run as administrator" in order to work without flagging my security.

Thanks Jason. I know you guys have a lot going on, but I would love to see a fix for disembarking from boats with the new water rules. Ruins a couple really good scenarios.

NOTE: You will need to restart any scenario started with the previous 2.31 BETA PATCH in order for the victory point values to function properly.
