Info on Air Assault Task Force and new Campaign Series

Post by demyansk »

Hi Guys,

I noticed a thread about the Vietnam series and I was wondering if you guys have ever played the Prosim Air Assault task force game? I am going to buy your new version but wondering if you have any comments on this game. I couldn't find any videos.

Prosim game? Crappy? Good? Old?

New series will have Battle with Hal Moore? 1965 IA Drang

I am unsure about the Prosim game, but yes, Hal Moore will make an appearance.

Here is a very, very ALPHA screenshot of the map.

Sweet Jason, looks good, I just bought the 25th anniversary GMT board game called Silver Bayonet. However, I will be playing the Vietnam game real nice. Some videos I posted in the Hal Moore thread and photos, might be helpful

Thanks for taking the time to develop these games and keeping them updated. Plus, answering dumb questions from us less knowledgeable gamers.

That looks like a sweet, sweet game! Map in particular is just plain gorgeous. Do post here once you've had a chance to give it a spin. There's a thread called For you boardgame fans out there making the rounds in the CS:ME main forum, dropped to the second page now I believe. I would not mind at all seeing that thred gain some new posts from boardgame players [:)]

I will post some pictures when the game arrives. I really like the way the CS Vietnam game will be coming along. I have a few board games but they just collect dust. I still have Air Assault on Crete from Avalon Hill and my first game was Tobruk, lent it to someone, I think and never seen it again. Still mad about that one. Especially, when I save everything. I sold my Pattons Best game about ten years ago.

The Groghead site has a good forum on board games, I think you're over there as well?

Thanks guys for the work. How did you guys get involved in game development?

In my case, it's a very long story, in every sense. [;)]

Modding is what did me in. First using and combining existing ones, then little by little creating my own. With help of Jason and Mike (Warhorse) especially.

It was a mod that got me buying JTCS in the first place too.

I believe THIS might be my first ever post at Matrix forums. [:'(]
