How to change realism settings during ongoing campaign?

Unfortunately the "See all" option had snapped in, and I noticed the mishap not until I just want to start the next battle. But the option now is frozen solid and will not change. Do I really have to start the campaign once more?

The settings you started with are saved as part of the saved game file and can't be changed from the Command Screen.
