How can I add impassable terrain?

Post by Nomada_Firefox »

Another trouble. I can not make deep water, I do not see it possible in the map editor. But if I want make a impassable river, how can I make it? I have tried adding no movement from units in the shallow water because when I need shallow water, the water painted can be enough.

But the map editor paint as open ground the shallow water if I make it impassable. The same happens if I try use the non-used minefield terrain set as impassable terrain.

Any ideas?[&:]

I believe it's shallow water at 1m or less depth and deep water beyond that but I would have to double check the code for the exact value.

So set your water level in the map editor and then lower the ground down more than 1m below that and you should get deep water, which will be impassable.

As always, very useful the answers. I could finish Caen as it must be. Just I needed an adjust in the terrain elevations and I could see the deep water.
