Battle #2 - Chasing Churchill

This is a shadow campaign to TIK's in that I play as the Germans on his Small Map Mod.
In this battle, I try in vain to get the Flammenwerfer team in position to take on the Churchill.

Battle #3 – The Bridge Over Mue Crossing
26JUN 0600 – Mue

Battle #3 - The Bridge Over Mue Crossing

With my forces split, they valiantly try to hold the victory locations, especially at the Mue Crossing VL only to suffer great losses before the Allies accept a truce. If not for the off map mortar support, the 2nd SS Panzer Grenadier Regiment 26 would have been decimated.
By the time my Pak 40 noticed the Churchill, it was too late. Does the AI have the advantage of knowing “where” my forces are deployed?

Battle #4 – KIA Camouflaged
26JUN 0600 – St Mauvieu

Battle #4 - KIA Camouflaged

Again the German forces are split but now have the cover of buildings in the East. These buildings, plus the inept allied armor, allow the Germans to hold critical Victory Locations till a truce is agreed upon.
Again, the AI armor takes out the PAK 40 the moment the battle begins, with the gun crew killed as they abandon the gun. Funny, the gun crew, now KIA is still camouflaged.
The Germans from this battle and previous battles will retreat and try to link up with reinforcements. Every soldier is needed to stop the Allied advancement.

Battle #5 – PAK-40 Fights!
26JUN 0600 – le Gaule

Battle #5 - PAK-40 Fights!

Finally some success with my PAK-40 as it takes out not only enemy armor, but infantry as well! My mortar carrier gets lost on its way to the battle but gets to fight another day as the enemy battle group is disbanded.

Battle #6 – Panzerjaeger’s Punch!
26JUN 0600 – Cheux

Battle #6-Panzerjaeger's Punch!

In this battle: An Allied armor squadron faces off against my Ersatz infantry with panzerjaegers, and an 88. The Allied armor squadron sits as a statute while my AT infantry positions for a kill. And a panzerjaeger shows their skill as tank hunters.

Battle #7 – The Panzers’ Punch
26JUN 0600 – Marcelet

Battle #7-The Panzers' Punch!

In this battle: German armor finally arrives. Allied infantry is swept back. And my mortar teams take out an AT gun by firing blind.

Pioniere Squad Strength

In this battle: Allied armor arrives in force. The German AT defenses are spot on. And a German Pioniere squad destroys the remainder of a formidable battle group.
