Sorry, long-term fan who wants some more

Close Combat – Last Stand Arnhem is a highly enhanced new release of Close Combat, using the latest Close Combat engine with many additional improvements. Its design is based on the critically acclaimed Close Combat – A Bridge Too Far, originally developed by Atomic Games, as well as the more recent Close Combat: The Longest Day. This is the most ambitious and most improved of the new Close Combat releases, but along with all the enhancements it retains the same addicting tactical action found in the original titles! Close Combat – Last Stand Arnhem comes with expanded force pools, reserve & static battlegroups, a troop point buying system, ferry and assault crossings, destructible bridges, static forces and much more! Also included in this rebuild are 60+ battles, operations and campaigns including a new enhanced Grand Campaign!

Thanks Matrix, Steve, Jim, and all. New patch is a big improvement and it's great to know that you guys are working to continually improve the game. I was on the sideline for some time recently, and now I'm back in the game.

Look forward to more testing, more disagreements, more flaming, more discussion, more fun, all in the direction of improvement. [:D]

[:D] cheers! The squeaky wheel gets greased.

Credit goes to Steve for the patch. He went far above and beyond what he signed up for to make some much needed enhancements. Kudos to yourself and a few others who made time to work hard on testing the patch.

Thanks guys for the comprehensive upgrade. As I play it I realize that a lot of hard work went into it to add to my enjoyment and to address the many constructive criticisms offered by CC fans

wait....let me put on my pointy hat, and push it down until my brain is a hard little bricket...there....now where was I?
...oh right.....you developers are a bunch of lying, lazy thieves....this release is crap...............piss, moan, bitch, finger-point, whine, boo-hoo
