No Campaign, no sale.

Post by sapper_astro »

Hey guys,

Freaked out when I saw a new CC title, and though I prefer the historical battles, thought I would check it out.

Once I saw that there were no campaigns, well, sorry. One of my favourite things in a CC game is building up certain individuals and trying to make sure they survive throughout a campaign, maybe get a medal or two. I see this one has none and that would mean the game would not hold much interest for me.

In future, if you guys could put in a campaign, then I will definately buy your next CC installment as the CC3 remake has been very, very good.

That's fine Sapper - we realized the campaign would be key for some gamers, which is why we made it clear that CC:MT didn't have one and also priced it lower than CC:COI.

I want to play a 6+ player game. For me this capability for MASS engagements makes this installment exciting.

I just tried playing CCV - maybe it has a campaign, but the tactical gameplay is pretty awful due to how tanks behave and it definitely lacks vehicle transports. And no mod is going to fix it. So, I'm kinda stuck with CCMT.

I was disapointed as well. I expected a Steel Panters like game. I hope to see a modern version put together with as much stuff as SPWAW.
