Cross of Iron '06.

We (Simtek) have on-going Military Contracts taking CC into '07.  The possibility of other CC productions is being studied.

It is arguably the best of the Series, though there may be some CCI addicts who would disagree :)

I certainly think cc2 right out of the box was a much more intriguing game than any that followed...though each added some interesting things, they seemed to lack that sense of strategy and history that cc2 had....imo....

CC2 was the best game I ever made.

It always will be.

This is great news to have The CC series redone. However I have to agree with this chap that CC2 was the most enjoyable because the scope of the tactical situation was fitting for such battles. CC4 wasn't bad either but I was dissappointed with CC3 because the whole of the Eastern Front was attmpted to represented on a small unit tactical game. The emphasis should have been on a (Stalingrad;Leningad;Moscow;) area battles with Small scale stategic choices as in CC4. However I am looking forward to further releases, hopefully on a smaller stategic scale such as Crete; Guadalcanal; Norway; etc.

Is this Simtek, the same Simtek of Master of Orion and Master of Magic fame? If yes, then [&o] , if not well then [&o] anyways for bringing CC back.

but you're not biased...naahh [;)] Somehow for me 1 was groundbreaking, and 3 was the peak. 4 -...7? were just...variations.
I'm essentially graphically and history oriented, unfortunately to connect the two I have to do maths. I hate maths.

No we are not those ones. We are pure CC junkies who are ever so lucky to be able to be working with this great game series.

Most if not all of us at Simtek have had something to do with CC from day one. Some of us are mod makers. Or have been testers for Atomic on their CC games. Or have started CC clans. Or have worked in the PC game industry before. Or have become hooked to CC that the only way to get relief is to still have it in our lives. [;)]
