File a Help Desk report about MMCC3 Servers!

Post by Dundradal »

For all those who play and would like to play...

I've heard of a time when the servers ran for months on end without needing to be reset.

Today they need to be reset multiple times daily.

We all need to file Help Desk Reports about the servers. The more people that complain the (one would hope) more likely we are to get a real solution instead of a quick fix reboot.

So please, fill out reports. Then after a few days of inaction, file another, then another.

It's been almost 2 weeks since my first report and no response. I've since filed a follow up report.

Here's the reply I got yesterday:

Hi
We are looking into this problem and are trying to resolve it as soon as possible, thanks for your patience. Unfortunately we do not have any set date or time we can give you for a resolution but I will have the CEO post it on our main page when this issue is resolved, again thanks for your patience.

PS- We have closed your other support inquiries to avoid confusion.

I replied with:
So is that a nice way of telling me tough shit?

"Unfortunately we do not have any set date or time we can give you for a resolution but I will have the CEO post it on our main page when this issue is resolved"

So that means I could be waiting a considerable amount of time. I purchased your product to use advertised parts of it that currently (and for the foreseeable future) non-functioning.

I will be patience, but if I keep getting smoke blown up my ass I will continue file complaints until a resolution is reached.

I have a feeling from reading on the forums this is a constant trend with Matrix (promising and then never doing a thing), while I would like to think that that is inadvertent, it seems to be happening right now.

I understand there is a lot going on, but the first time I reported this issue I got "issue fixed enjoy" when you and I both knew it was not (or that it was at best a temp fix). That was pure BS.

When you tell me you have no timetable it sounds as if you just brushed me off. I will continue to file weekly issues on the servers until something is done and will encourage other users to do the same.

I appreciate your work, but I would like results and not hollow promises.

I have submitted 2 Reports. I have had no response (apart from the automated one). This is really a no brainer to fix. It just depends on whether they can be bothered (the techs) or be ordered to (The Management). So far, I see no indication of either. When we launched CoI and set up the MMCCIII Services, they stayed up continually until the Campaigns finished. Matrix provided the Servers, I set up the Campaigns. Apart from having to restart the Servers (due to Windows Updates for example), they never went down.

I don't know what the equivalent Trading Standards Authority is in the U.S. but I found this:

http://www.bbb.org/us/consumers/

They accept complaints and have advised me that I can do so. Whether they can do anything formally is perhaps moot, but escalation is our only recourse when presented with inadequate service.

For anyone reading here that hasn't seen the other MMCC3 threads the servers are now set to automatically reset should the servers reset. If you're seeing outages please report them and we'll look into it asap. Thanks for being patient while we worked through this.
