Close Combat - Cross of Iron is based on Atomic Games award Winning Close Combat Series. Close Combat is a real time game were you take command of German or Soviet squads on the Eastern Front during World War II. This version is being developed by CSO Simtek and will include many new features and improvements.

check firewall and anti virus log files, so see if either has stopped any files or process from running, make sure you install all of the pre requisites which come with the game and are needed etc

some older games need windows 10 to be more backwards compatible, and so does come with all the files which older versions of windows and games need, so just need to be turned on

no problem, now you can play almost any older game, which worked in almost any version of windows

I have used your excellent guide to get COI, WAR, LSA, TLD on my windows 10 with no borders at all - thank you very much! However, I've just uploaded the new 3.06.02 and I cannot get the game to work with no borders. Do you have any suggestions?

PS: I've just worked it out. One must uncheck the 'Framed Window' on the Game Options menu. Silly me...
