Thought Jamm might want to see this. Final map shots, i stepped thru the battle and the reinforcements never really got close. This map is great Jamm i hope you make some more scenarios with this map. If those reinforcements would of committed to battle the result might have been different. Nice touch giving points to the enemy if they kill my leaders, i was defiantly aware of where they were and i was cautious to use then. thx again.

junk you sure, it wouldn't let me fire. so your saying when i hover my crosshairs over the enemy that number is what it cost them to fire at me. didn't know that. Can you see any reason why i couldn't fire at that unit?

In the bottom shot it shows a 27% change to hit next to the crosshair. If you couldn't shoot, it should not have given you a % number.

Yes, when you hover over a unit you get the stats of that unit, friendly or enemy, in the UI (not the crosshairs). Very handy when playing 3D units as you don't get the counter numbers to study.

Thx budd.
No those reinforcement areas are definately not right.
I'll check my dropbox files and make sure everything is right.
The firefight is a lot more difficult when those 6 squads show up.

Hey budd,
I just downloaded the file from my dropbox and tested it out, checking the xml file.
Tested it and everything seems to be fine.
Your copy must've garbled you may want to try reinstalling those scenario files.
Thanks for the AAR.

i redownloaded the files and played again. I looked at the files and i'm wondering if this happened because i had the big stalingrad map in the map directory. In the above AAR was i supposed to be able to deploy my troops anywhere on the map? After removing the stalingrad map and putting the redownloaded files in their folders I played again. The enemy reserves committed and i only had a few deployment hexes in the 103rd area for my reinforcements. i played better and had better rolls, i had all objectives by end of round 2. they were contested throughout the game, but the enemy never regained control. The enemy did sneak one onto an objective last minute, but i got the points. Here's some shots. Top shot is in the last round, AI massed its forces and tried to take the objective. Bottom shot is final map after game, all enemy units on map visible. I do like city fights, hope you make some more battles on this map, great map. Thx.

I noticed in your instructions for where to put the files, this file isn't mentioned. I put it into the map folder, as it seemed map related.

Hey budd,
Yes, the detail file goes with the maps.
I try to keep the Scenarios fairly balanced with forces for H2H play.
Therefore the AI side cannot be overloaded with units in most cases.
So if you find the going too easy, just play a scenario on a more difficult setting.
This one kicked my ass on the expert setting.
