Army Group North options

One of the many choices to make as to which direction do you take, and with what group do you send where?

Tank heavy needs good ground and a short route for less fuel use, while infantry with or without support units can go either way. the choice is your's commander.

Make sure you make the right one, as if this fails, so will the success of the 2 other Army groups.

please remember you don't start off where this shot is taken from either, but it's just where i've ended up at a given date tbh, while you could be further forward or back from these positions depending on your play style and ability, hopefully better as i'm useless at games but do enjoy them, sometimes i follow history and it's directions, and other times i don't and go off on my own path and see how i'd do, mostly worse tbh but it's all fun and enjoyable and adds to re playability[&o][&o][&o]

The 4th Panzer group, Tank heavy for me takes the shorter route with better terrain and more bases for support and supply, with the 18th Army taking the direct route to Narva with the 16th Army taking the 2 inner roads

so to recap, the 4th to Talinn, with the 18th on it's right flank, and the 16th split into 2 units on the right flank of the boarder with AGC.

play how you like commander, make your own history or follow it, it's your game so play it how you want to play, the options are as many as the unit types and terrain in the vast expanse of mother Russian just make good time, as soon as winter comes, so will the rain and the mud, which then turns to snow and ice.

prepare well commander, or as fast as you move forward, the trip back will be quicker...

protect your bases and supply well, or loose them, same as your border with AGC, if they keep up you don't need to protect your flanks, but if they don't or fail, so will you[;)]

more choices commander, the Fin's, yes, but not for today's lesson, today we chose how to display out army units...

no matter how you play, just enjoy what is a pleasure and a challenge from either side, no matter what counters you wish to use...

all screenshot have been taken with Fog Of War turned off, when it's on you see, next to nothing[:D][;)]

So not great to show a empty map / counters either[X(][8|][:D][;)]

AGC, with the hardest nut to crack, also with the most Tank Heavy forces, terrain good, but so are the defences, bypass and cut off is key, do not lay siege unless you wish to throw away your forces, it's Moscow or bust, and most of the time it's bust tbh, but it's a plan, and with all plans it doesn't last past the first bullet fired, as if you can see it, then the Russians have prepared also for it, the AI isn't stupid [8|][:D][;)]
