Operation Big Pine

Post by lion_of_judah »

This scenario is now in the scenario bank:

The Sandinistas and FMLN had laid their plains in the expectation that they would have to move within a few days of making their decision to act, in order to take advantage of some fleeting American preoccupation with events in another part of the globe.

This scenario is from the victory games board game " Central America" FMLN player has a preparedness level of 4 and the Honduran/US player has a level of 2 and a half preparedness level maybe a tad more but not much. This is AI capable as either player. I have played as the Honduran player and have held off the FMLN for a while, but each time I lose the Honduran capital and have rarely recaptured it. I have added a few US units to try and bring a play balance but so far with the same result.

I have played as the FMLN player as well and the Honduran AI seems to do a nice job of defending, but I have been able to make major headway as the FMLN player. This is a work in progress.
