Flooded by messages and missions ...

Post by nukkxx5058 »

Hi I'm receiving so many messages, all asking me to go there and there (to ruins or abandonned ship, etc) but I cannot face it ... they are far too many ...
Any suggestions ?
Thank you

Ignore them?

I believe you can do some message filters, I am good at ignoring them. I usually have a long list of guys in the top right that want some response or got some suggestion, which never have their offer looked at.

The majority of the messages will be pirates trying to extort money from you. I ignore those. They eventually disappear from the screen as new messages appear.

And what about the messages saying that I should go in sector D21 etc. , should I explore the suggested regions or wait that my exploration ships to discover the "whatever" will be there ? Is it worth the effort ?

There is usually an alien ship, or possibly an independent colony at that spot.

What I may do, is to pick a nearby ship, either an exploration ship or a military ship. I then select it and zoom in on the circle. When really close (and the circle is no longer showing), I give the order to "move here". That should trigger the alien ship event that may be there.

I am just as likely to ignore it. If it has been there a long time, it is likely that some AI found it, and whatever was there has been picked up.

An alien ship can be a powerful fighting ship, or just a nice little research boost if you retire it at a spaceport.

If you are playing any of the story lines, these locations could advance them forward.
