Independent freighter ships using my design

I have noticed from time to time looking at independent freighters that some of his freighters use my designs. It’s quite surprising and by examining them, everything was the same, size, speed, energy, fuel used, etc. Basically, it’s as if the independents sometimes ask other empires to build freighter ships for them, maybe to replace some lost and/or because demand is high. Have you noticed that too or am I alone ?

Pirate designs were a copy paste affair from normal empire in RetreatUE (DWUR). Lazy, yes, but good for my sanity. On the plus side easily moddable.

No, I also noticed this in DW vanilla, copies of this or that design of my freighters but belonging to the independents. I even recognize them at a glance because all my designs are smaller visually (I put 0,60 and scaled in image scaling) and as I am the only empire to do this, it is necessarily my designs.

Independents are pirates in disguise. If the pirates do not have a sub folder in the ship design they will use the normal race files. If this still isn't the case then idk.
