distant worlds universe not launch

Excuse me for my bad english [:(]
I don't play Distant Worlds Universe. With the autorun, two seconds, appear the logo, and then, nothing. The same with the .exe.
I have enabled y activated WMP and Internet Explorer 11
XNA 4.0 ok
I have other games of Matrix and Slitherine, and don't have problem, all ok; only Distant Worlds Universe is problematic.

My Spanish is a little rusty, but it looks like there is a problem with the Arial Bold font on your system.

The first thing to do is make sure that you have a good, current backup of your system.

You can check for installed fonts by going to <windir>\fonts. Font styles are grouped by font family, you can drill down by
clicking on the Arial font (if it is present). On my system, there are 9 font styles (bold, italic etc.) under Arial. If you can't find the style for Arial Bold then your problem is that style is missing and you'll have to locate a place to download and install new fonts.

If Arial Bold is present it could simply be corrupt.

Open the command prompt for you system, be sure to specify 'run as administrator'.
On the command line type: sfc /scannow
SFC is Microsoft's utility for checking and repairing system files. It'll take a bit of time before it completes.

Once it is complete, reboot your machine, just to remove any cached items. Once you're back in you can try to run DW again.

SFC doesn't always fix a problem, so if you're still having issues you may need to replace Arial Bold directly. Simply move the font currently installed to a backup folder and locate and install a new Arial from a reputable site.
