But, unfortunatly, as this update doesn't address the windows update bug, I (and a lot of others people) can't launch it (I tried just now).
As rjord1 noted in post 1039 of this thread, the 2004 update creates a backup. It should be possible to roll back that Windows update. It seems like Microsoft used some people as random beta testers since the 2004 update is not being pushed anymore. If I was affect3ed by that update I would try to roll it back.
