How could make CuStom Battle?<?

How could make CuStom Battle?<?

Hi folks, i just buyed this game and it´s ok. But when i try to make a custom battle (Example Early Romans Vs Spartans) the system tells me " select enemy". I search the opponent but again say me "select enemy", and again and again.

How can i do that?
