Too bad to hear

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

Too bad to hear

Post by JoeMK »

Too bad to be informed yesterday that "FC Southern Storm is not releasing this year" (Marco).

So, it's time again to "celebrate" one and another scenario of Red Storm. That‘s not bad too, and hope is the last to die ...

Yes. It was a combination of events that pushed us back a few months. We are very busy with both Southern Storm and the Professional work and the Matrix/Slitherine production queue is very full going into the end of the year. So it helps both sides out. [8D]

Another dud then like Campaigns On The Danube 3.1 which I've been waiting for, for .... ages

Well I guess with software it always takes twice as long as expected, even allowing for that rule.

Trust me, the team would very much like to release the game, but we want it right and working well and we need to balance our schedule with the Professional efforts and the very busy schedule for the Matrix/Slitherine production team. In the end, we think it will be worth the extra time spent.

Roger that. But at least COTD and WiF and others are still being worked on. And I continue to work on Empires in Arms code development, and that perhaps is taking thrice as long as I expected. It's frustrating.

I await Southern Storm, and by the time it's released I may have more free time to play it.
