Pairing up armour and infantry units for urban combat

Post by Deathtreader »

Hi all,

The subject line says it all..... currently the only way I've found to do this is by synching arrival times in the waypoint editor otherwise the tanks move out and arrive in the new hex long before the infantry do (even when mounted in their APC/IFV vehicles).

It can be a cumbersome process at times. Is there a better way to achieve this? Can there be a better way to do this? Like maybe just a group selection of dragging and dropping where the stack moves together but at the speed of the slowest unit which will almost always be the infantry whether on foot or in vehicles. Or maybe something else...…

Looking forward to SS!!

Rob.
So we're at war with the Russkies eh?? I suppose we really ought to invade or something. (Lonnnng pause while studying the map)
Hmmmm... big place ain't it??

Hi Rob. Good comment. We're experimenting with exactly what you describe for Southern Storm. And we'll have Canadians :)
