New Developer Beta Hotfix for EDBTR patch version 1.06.

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Thanks for your answers. Years ago I have played and edited a bit the original BTR, but I was never deep into editing it (I think, I was decrypting the files myself and directly hexediting them) and I don't remember much anyway. Let's see, what's the story with the next data inconsistency, that I've found.

Me 410B-2/R3 and Me 410B-2/R5 (ID 126 and 127) list respectively as extra/normal versions 126 (itself for R3) and 125 (Me 410A-1/U2 for R5). It would seem like the values should be 127 and 126 instead, unless it has been edited this way so you could never get the R5.

a for Auslander, Denniss?
The Nazis entered this war under the rather childish delusion that they were going to bomb everyone else, and nobody was going to bomb them. They sowed the wind, and now they are going to reap the whirlwind.

Good catch here. I should be able to slip this fix into the patch before it goes to print so the R3 can swap out 2 30mm cannons for 4 20mm cannons.

When the next patch comes out will it be compatible with saved files? Also is the P47D-15's speed going to be adjusted at all?

Old saves from 1.06 will be compatible, but all data changes like what you suggest would require a restart. The data team did not comment or confirm the need for any changes to the P47D speeds so I didn't make any changes.

We cam look at it for the next patch if it is warranted.

Ahh roger. Awesome to hear that the patch will be save compatible. I kind of figured the stat change wouldn't be.

And thanks tons for all the hard work you guys do.
