Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

:?: Is there a chance of ever seeing a new edition or a remake with contemporary technology, graphics, UI and operation?

I approached Matrix about this very thing about a year ago or so. The answer was highly unlikely. I got the feeling if it does happen it will not be done any time soon, and given my previous experience at getting a new game off the ground from scratch, you are looking at 5 years. Possibly if you could plug it into an existing game engine, like CMO or WITW (which does have a strategic bombing component) then it could probably get done sooner. But like I said there does not seem to be any interest at this time. As things stand now, our little group has done about all we can with the existing game, so I am not sure if we can do anything more to improve it.

Thanks for all you've done with it - it's appreciated.
The Nazis entered this war under the rather childish delusion that they were going to bomb everyone else, and nobody was going to bomb them. They sowed the wind, and now they are going to reap the whirlwind.

Seems weird they don't make a sequel or something. Like WITE2. I guess it's too niche?

The limitations of the aged code precludes the development of improved graphics and user interface. It would need to be a whole new game built from scratch.
