Do the SE Night Fighters Convert to Day Ftrs at some point?

Hi,

Just trying to remember if the JG300, 301 and 302 gps can flip to day ftrs at some point? I sort of remember something about that a long time ago ....

Cannot remember the exact date but yes they do revert to day fighters.
UNLESS you have changed them to dedicated twin engined night fighters, then that gruppe, or gruppen, remains as night fighters. And I think if you do change a gruppe to twins then it is not possible to change back to single engine NF types. Depends on how your day gruppen are fairing and your own strategies.

Hi Mark, Thank you for the info and reply. I wish more could be turned to day combat as the Night fighting part of the campaign is woeful, though I know the team has been trying for years to find the right balance. Again, thank you.

Sorry for delay in reply, got deployed for a very short gig. Yes, more than happy to see what you have come up with and give it a test if you like. I note the excellent work you have done with the allied AI in the long campaign, best it has ever been by a long shot! Some time in the future it may be worth having a look at the amount of AA guns that the AI kill, My current game is in Dec 43 and I am actively ripping AA from unused aflds and areas I don't care about like Greece to keep up a reasonable level off AA at the radar sites and fwd European aflds.
