the stupid recon planes and have the intel be collected atomatically. It really kills the fun of the game every darn time I need to send out the stupid little planes all over europe. Time consuming and extremely boring.

U2 I agree but even if you let the AI plot it it always seems not to send recon aircraft to certain targets. The classic is area recon mission, you are informed that there is no recon photo of the site and turn after the AI does not plot recon missions over that target.

Okay, just cause I was able to break though the D-Day defences, and win the War in Aug of 44, don't make me Gamey (ahhh, think sitting at the puter for 18 hours a day does that)

but yea, I think ground combat had more planned for it, then made it into the game, plus, I think the first patch made more changes to the ground war, to take more of it out of play

Hi bud,

I know you're not gamey and that wasn't my meaning. I actually think it's good that the air war can impact the ground war and I think it should have more 'interaction'. But as I say there has to be a balance between it becoming all too powerful and allowing any game to end by 44 and it being able to help the ground forces advance (rather than destroying 10's of artillery, AFV etc with 99 disruption over a long period of time and the Allied troops not advancing).
