Jon's survey

Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

The fact that I asked for no comments says it all, thanks guys maybe someone else will give you an AAR. To those that enjoyed it, thanks...I do have a life, and very much enjoy this game. I've played wargames for 40 years and theres none out there better...Enjoy it when it comes out...

YES.

I will make a comment Jon. It appears that you have made a decision not to do another AAR. I for one am extremely sad, but i fully understand why you have made this choice.

I think forum members need to remember that guys like Jon put an awful lot of time and effort into their AAR's and they do this for the love of the game. I really hope to see another one from you in the future.

All the best buddy.

The answer is yes, but what has already been done has been plenty, if it has to end. [:)]

Yes - I enjoyed reading them

(nobody's forced to read your AARs if they don't like them plus the forum has another pretty decent thread for people who want to ask about specific aspects of the game)

just the fact that this thread was even started by a touchy OP, ought to tell the developers to make a more discerning choice between public and private testers. Ron had a point long ago. Those of us who are going to buy the game made up our minds a long time ago, prima dona theatrics by wounded egos will only delay our credit cards out of chuckling spite....[8D]
