Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

Support units in Armies

Post by tomeck48 »

So let's say I want to add a Light AA Battalion to a Soviet Army. The screen tells me there are none available to add. So I click to form one and it shows up in the list of support units with a "u" after it. How can I find out how long it will take that unit to form and reach 100% TOE? I've looked through the manual and can't seem to find anything about it.

Depending on manpower and armament availability, it should fill up over 1-2 turns. It MAY like new on-map units be frozen for three turns before available for use.

You should create your Support Units in a HQ with high morale well out of harms way. When TOE is close to 100% and morale = 45 assign them to a combat HQ.
Molotov : This we did not deserve.

Foch : This is not peace. This is a 20 year armistice.

I always created my SU in STAVKA
On the right side there is a TOE list you can open I always do
and see what the unit need, and you can also see how many you have in your pool
A tank regiment eg is not only T34 tanks there is also support units for them

Also, creating in STAVKA or a Front result less PP cost when reassigning.
