Start over without Steam?

Hah! I found my original install files!!!!! Right now I am running from Steam. I want to run multiple versions. Can I reinstall standalone without uninstalling Steam?

I tried it and, opening my original WITE .exe from 12/2/2010 I get the dreaded #801 serial number error. Is there any way to fix this without Steam?

I think you can have two installs, just put them in different directories.

I think you need to run WitE with administrator rights.

I find steam useless for me as WITE does not run on steam for macintosh, meaning that I must run windows on my iMac anyway to play WITE and therefore do not need steam.
WITE on the mac on steam would be good for me.

Unfortunately there is no native Mac version of WitE (or any game in the series).
