Patch version and Multiplayer discrepency

Hi, I have a question.

My WITE is updated to v.1.11.01, as seen in pic below. When I log on to Multiplayer I get the message that there is a newer patch available. See pic two.

Is this just a glitch that comes up, or is there a problem with my installation of my patch? or one of the older patches? If so would this cause problems with any games I was playing?

just ignore it - function used to look for last official update but seems to have stopped working properly (1.11 is last official).
Most important is to have your opponent use the same version as yours.

So it is just a problem with the part that looks for the latest patch then? And has no affect on the play between opponents. If your opponent say they are using the same version, I have no way to verify it, so I assume they are, when they say they are.

You say last version is 1.11, I was told it is 1.11.01. I assume the same thing applies.

11.01 is the public beta version. OK for play vs AI or opponent who is agreeable. In theory we need to be providing feedback on issues, bugs, etc on beta version changes before they are finalized in a new version 1.12.
