Wrong or Right convert?

Steam version 1.11, I see this in tutorial. The T-34 M1943(9/42) converted to T-34 M1942(7/42)[&:]
Is this right,or is there something wrong?

I have seen aircraft units downgrade due to lack of availability. Maybe that is a possibility. Are you producing enough 1943 T-34s to fill requirements?

I think you are right,this maybe happen both in real world and the game.

the T-34 m43 model is a made-up version of the T-34 m42 to be produced in just one specific factory and timeframe. Besides from name and production there's no difference to the m42 hence the m43 is 'transformed' to m42s.

I think that is a "swap" where a unit or airgroup changes its equipment. Above in the log file picture is a "conversion" (or "import") where the actual equipment is already in the pool and manufactured to be something different.

Nevertheless there are circumstances where equipment does get converted to less useful equipment (e.g. axis fighters and bombers becoming recon)
