I believe I would surrender from what I see on the pictures if I were Germans. But that is just me.

It would be hard not to surrender. But I hate when the german player does that. After all now it is the soviet "turn" to have fun woth encirclements. It once happened to me in October 41. I had managed to cut 3 panzerkorps just before mud. The german player threw the towel, and I was left with the feeling that I had been cheated after a desperate struggle to save my units for months.

Ps. Perhaps, to avoid these kind of surrenders, the game should allow to implement new objectives to win the game. That way both players should have an incentive to not throw the towel.

I think a surrender is perfectly acceptable here. I'd say there's more like three pz armies in that pocket. Totally terminal if they can't be rescued.
I would play on if my opponent insisted, but purely in defensive mode to cut down on time wasted on a game that's over already.

Must agree, lost units too many units. Even though they will reappear as hulls, they will suck off all the equipment/men leaving the front gutted. ... although I feel for No Idea & other Soviet players not being able in getting their "licks" in.
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others.
