Turn 2 Lvov Northern Beginning of Turn (BoT)

Here is the Northern section of Lvov, a few German infantry just made it past Rovno this turn. Beender is doing a good job of creating a buffer with the Germans. You will notice the yellow circle on what I mean. Basically either ZOC move the hex to German control or attack the Soviet away. Then move to the inside of the pocket where the Soviets are weaker on attack. This really keeps the Soviets from counterattacking the Germans during the turn. Not many Germans I have played do this & other Germans should pick this up immediately if they aren't doing so already in the opening months of the war.

Thanks for all the lavish praises. I don't know if I deserve them and be assured I'm not a humble person[:D]

Your summary of the pocket tactics touches the very essence of it. Indeed that is what I try to do (and maybe more apparent in T3): using units as inner ring while hexes as outer ring for a pocket. Actually I was going to write some thoughts of mine on German offensive last night but then a disaster happened and I lost every single pic I've saved during these months of playing WITE. Very sad. So it is great to see now you raised this issue.

Well I have set you up for a very good win. So I am sure everyone on the forums will congratulate you when you do. Just don't get too big of a head ;-P

Don't worry it probably can't get any bigger:)

And where were the houserules broken? The point about no mad panzer dashes? (the houserule says 9 hexes from the turn start, but constraining Pz movement to 9 hexes behind the front seems a bit harsh/odd, with a specific defence in deep you could secure no encirclements at all) Or was it about the HQ assignment changes?
