you would have to ask morveal- my understanding is that in the patch changes they found that on an element level German units were using to many supplies/fuel- however the game had been balanced around this overuse so when they fixed it, it caused the Germans to become super supplied and they have been trying to adjust the rail % in 1941 to adjust for this since. Thus the reason for several patch iterations you have seen the Germans be able to advance much more quickly than historical, because they are oversupplied based on old balance factors and burn less fuel/supply than they used to per element per turn.

They have been working to fix the balance problems it has caused.

There were no under the hood buffs since the version used by this game, just use the change log and search for "supply".
Yes I went through it recently for something regarding the supply system. Error is possible but the burden of proof is on you.

Instead, there were around a half and one dozen nerfs to the Axis logistics since then.
It seems the conspiracy on the Axis logistics buff is not real. I am really tired of seeing this repeated again and again.

That is solely a comment on logistics. In other branches there were other buffs and nerfs of course.

Edit: The equipment supply use was changed in both directions for many weapons but that has zero relevance unless the truck need exceeds the motor pool=not relevant in early 1941.

HQ fuel nerf is major progress. Thanks for the update and the discussion. How about game balance? Is it still necessary to capture Leningrad AND Moscow to have as chance as the Axis?

Would the strategy I used in this game regarding HQ buildup still work with the newest version? I completely lost track of changes.

Welcome back!

Thanks!
