EFB

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

EFB

Playing as Germans in the 1944 campaign. Something never occurred to me even though I've been playing this game for quite a while. I have the EFB set for AI control. Does the EFB automatically handle its own depots or is that up to me to build them to support the EFB?

Not sure what you mean by AI control for the EFB. Either the EFB is on or off. If it is on, you have control of moving units to/from the EFB and to put units there on refit. You don't need to do anything with depots. If the EFB is off, then units will move to/from the EFB on the historical schedule.
