air transfer gamey

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Anyone try the GC 43 as Allies and not sent extra airforce to Med?What were results.Always seemed a gamey move to me.

it works out fine. Key are two steps, first leave the med air dispersed and on auto. Second Wellingtons+mines from the other air groups really push up interdiction over key areas.

I agree its a very gamey move, I'd be happier if more of the UK naval air groups were abstracted to be honest

Or (better) had something to do...prevent attrition on Transatlantic supply routes or cause it on Axis resouces from Norway.

I house rule for no Coastal Command transfers otherwise it gets silly.
I have a cunning plan, My Lord
