Unable to load Scenario or Save

I recently upgraded my computer. After transferring all of my games via transfer cable I started the game. It booted fine but every Scenario or save I try to load gives me a "Unable to load Scenario or Save" message where the scenario description should be
any thoughts?

Ensure your game version is up-to-date. Sound like you are trying to open games/scenarios with an old executable which had been disabled to prevent problems.

I have the same problem. I just installed the game, upgraded to the latest version (v1.02.59), and added the Operation Torch DLC. Sometimes the load scenario screen works, but most of the time it doesn't, showing only the same error message as in the first post. No descriptions or load button.

Any ideas about what could be causing this erratic behavior?

Solved it by uninstalling and installing the game again, this time without an apostrophe in the game folder: Grigsby's became Grigsbys. It shouldn't be an issue, but as this is a reasonably old game by now, I just thought I'd give it a try... and it worked.
