Restricted pilot replacements

Post by KWG »

What are some reasons you would want to have Restricted pilot replacements for a air unit?

Perhaps you dont want replacements going to that Airgroup. No aircraft, withdrawing soon or you want replacements to go to frontline air groups.

The Germans want trained pilots to go into fighters. They do not want them going into Bombers...or Patrol aircraft etc.

So you set the fighter squadrons on TPI (Trained Pilots Only). You don't want them getting normal (crap) pilots.

There is another post around here somewhere that goes into a lot of detail about the different assignments.
