Two Pressing German Questions

1. What works for managing the east front? My "send a few spare divisions and try to refit when the threat says I can" method has ended in disaster.

2. Does the AI get a bonus for its strategic airwar? I'm punching holes in 8th AF and Bomber command (raids losing 10% or more by day,5% by night) and compared to a human they're doing little damage, but it took the '44 divisor to get their score under control.

1. Pull back mechanized formations as they are depleted, work them back up in berlin national suplly source and send them back. Disband LW divisions maybe when they offer no more CV.

Do not refit to much divisions in the same time. You have few resources, so use them sparringly. I think it's very important to refit the best units (high morale infantry ans armored divs) and to let die the worse one (LW divs etc.)
You can also disband some support like heavy artillery and reducing the TOE in the west (85% for instance) to have more resources for the east.
