accuracy of enemy rail usage numbers

Post by bairdlander2 »

I am aware that factory shown to WA is false without aerial recon. What about the Axis rail usage when scrolling over a hex?Are the numbers displayed accurate and if so,how is the information known to WA,through partisans, espionage? Why not the same for factory information?

I remember asking during beta last year "is it possible to tell where the enemy depots are?" and Helpless saying something along the lines of "Yes it would be possible to show that" and I believe that is what enemy rail usage shows, and I think it maybe being seen without FOW. Train activity may too obvious for FOW. Not sure of how.

Point is...the hex with the most usage makes a great target....but is the info shown correct or am I wasting my time bombing it?FoW is on.

As far I know enemy rail usage is not under FOW. A high rail usage track would be due to troops being moved and/or a depot somewhere on the line.

Bombs Away, but those numbers indicate where activity "has" happen and you might be bombing the past, if just bombing a empty rail hex somewhere. Where does all the rail usage seem to lead to, as to a depot or rail junction may be the better targets. Or carpet bomb every rail near the high usage.
