British forces are assaulting the trapped Axis forces and preventing any Axis assistance from Messina. US forces from Trapani and Palermo heading towards the trapped Axis forces to assist in the assault.

Trapped Axis forces have been eliminated and British forces are assaulting Messina.

After assaulting for two weeks Messina has fallen. Other Allied forces have moved to other pending operations.
