Summer 42:

As for Japan, as feared they have taken Eastern India, and amazingly they have declared war on the Soviet Union, taking considerably ground, we'll see if they have not opened a can of worms.

All russian citizens are celebrating the encirclement of a huge german army in the Rostov region, prisioners report that german Hq are really worried for lack of supplies, german airforce nowhere to be seen after heavy loses in battle.

China has retaken Eastern Mongolia from the hated japanese.

The WA allies were unable to send another convoy this turn, and continued redeploying forces in order to hit Japan and the Axis.

Edited some spelling.

Take a look at that cauldron full of some of the very best divisions deployed by Germany( 1 veteran TB, 1 vet. armour, 2 vet. inf div. and 1 vet. Art.) Desperate position for the germans.

Time to do my turn, we'll see what has happened [;)]

Hey guys, why don't you post a little brief of how your turn has gone, I don't think I will be able to do it all by myself (lack of time).

Turn done.

Fall 42:

Germany continued with its subs attack and though she managed to damaged 2 TF and sink another it was not without a dear price 2 subs sent to docks, ASW begining to give results.
On the eastern front seems like they would try to open an isle to supply the bulk of army group south trapped in Rostov, winter offensive expected.

Fall 42:

Japan, praised be the lord for Southern India has not fallen to the imperial japanese army, attacks on Eastern Mongolia by japanese forces were also repelled by chinese army.

Russia retook the Baltic States, Velikiye Luki, Smolensk and Belorussia. Has the steam roller begun its push forward?

The Chinese are doing an incredible Job, they occupied MANCHURIA and cut off the japanese army in India by taking Mandalay. Japanese economy might be begining to suffer from lack of resource centers and broken links.

Fall 42:

The WA renewed their convoys to Murmansk, we don't want those krauts to get away form Rostov, but to Siberia concentration camps. [:D]

On the Pacific did some wiping on the japanese naval forces, still a major battle against CV has been avoided, better to choke them up first, by sinking and breaking their links to resources, 2 TF and 5 LF damaged or destroyed. Continued bombing France resources.

Thanks a lot for your reports rjh1971, they're much appreciated! [8D]
Just do them at the pace you like.

It looks like the 1942 scenario leads straight to serious action, I wonder if the encirclement in Rostov might end in a preliminary decision though.

DNP My Allied Friends!

I have still not received my new turn (what's up svein, mike?)
I still haven't seen this Chinese army action, but it sounds uh.......unsettling.  My war aims at this point are totally simple, get 4 more VPs (74 right now, AV is 78!), I repaired the resource and factory in E India on my last turn (now it looks like I'll have to to mop up some Chinese Forces) with South India in the bag (can't f'ing believe last turn's attack failed at 78%!) I'll have 2 more to go, all I need is a helping hand from the fascists out west.  It would appear OKH pulled another Stalingrad (at Rostov, just like in my dream!)  I hope Svein has an HB nearby because it does not look like Hoth is coming anytime soon for a link-up[:(].  I was amazed to see the WA sit idly by while my entire carrier strike group went west (easy to cut off[8|]!)  I am currently researching EV and AA for CAGs, hopefully, Midway part II won't go the way of the first one.......
Incredibly, the Russian left Vlad unmanned, I simply had to take it, that kind of sh*t don't fly my friends.....especially when D is having trouble.....if he had left the basic garrison I never would have touched it (only 1 VP after all with plenty of attendant danger.....)  So in sum, India goes down next turn, (at least Svein had the decency to send a sub around by the Horn to help cut off India from reinforcement) then it will be on to Australia (with some luck and a continued lack of American interference[:)]......OK fellas, my move.....still lookin'

We seem to have lost ground virtually everywhere though my offensive continues (hey, if you are not on the offense, then you are on the defense, not a good place to be for an AV, n'est ce pas [:D]) I send out a scout and find.......

Holy Shite, the Americans have sent 2 lonely carriers into my waters, to the bottom with ye! God I'm loving this, please, America continue to send carriers 2 at a time......2 CVs and 2 CAGs destroyed for no loss, gotta love it, so close to home did not even need extra fuel. This cost me 8 supply total, what a bargain.

So, basically everything (on my side of the planet anyway) is going as planned, India is ours plus the US just lost a carrier task force (WTF was he thinking?!) The loss of Manchuria to the Chinese is most embarrassing but I do not have the means of punishing him for it (even my lame attempt at damaging the RP across the stand-off line in Siberia fails with the loss of a damaged T-Air......)

DNP RAf and Mike!

Next turn I will ramp up for the taking of Australia......in the meantime, I beef up TFs, supply and carrier tech, now my beautiful CAGs are at 6 torp (but oh so pathetic their AA and EV ratings-if this had been "Total War" those would have been at 7/7 by now, grrrr, I cannot stand up to WA fighters.......such injustice.)

After some delay I finally did my turn.

Wi 43:

As Captain haddock used to say: Billions of blueblistering barnacles, to nice flattops growing weeds at the bottom of the ocean */%$@*...

Well not everything is going so bad, russia gobbled up that cauldron at Rostov and now Germany is almost on the defensive in the Eastern Front.

About the WA allies european front Morocco has been liberated from the puppet Vichy Goverment, and Algeria and Tunis will soon follow, unless the german player commits the same mistake as uncle Adolf, ie sending troops to North Africa.

The Pacific Theater has seen more action and it's raising it's temperature. Allied forces have begun reconquering the DEI. Also all Transport Fleets you see and the Light Fleet are either sank or damaged. Japan is going to suffer from lack of resources.
A raid attemp by a jap submarine was aborted and the sub was reported destroyed.
Forces redeployment in the Pacific is classified material, once operations start progress will be reported.

Here you can take a look at Japanese Production plans stolen by one of our spies. Too many damaged units under repair, what will Tojo decide to do, build supplies or repair the units?

This guy did it again (albeit with heavy TF losses for me.) I just don't get how he does not seem to understand that CAGs are so beautiful, how could he throw these things away!
