Germany continues to steamroll everything... Even winter troops can´t save me now...
Moscow could go down, maybe only winter could save it for a turn or two..

When the west is faced with world crisis, it is time for action. No time to remain 'politically frozen'. So action it is, we will mobilise our....spys. (What? Did you think I was going to say tanks? Yeah, right)

Oops - forgot to post my report for Winter 42 :) - Dobeln - Germany

OKW decides on holding a winter line in the east, while sending reinforcements to the Middle East, which is now threatened by British forces advancing through Persia. We plan on resuming our offensive once the mud dries up in the spring.

The world hasn't quite outraged the Americans enough to throw down the gauntlet, yet.

Spring 1942 - Dobeln - Germany

OKW orders a thrust into Moscow, the Bolsjevist capital. Resistance is light, and Guderian decides to follow up with a major armored offensive against the Soviet troop concentrations holding a line north of Moscov. The attack is successful, with lighter casualties than expected. In the south, meanwhile, Army Group Mediterranean launches an attack into Persia, but the British troops hold on and the German formations are withdrawn, with heavy casualties.

Japan - Spring 42: The Imperial staff could no longer standby and watch the nations of the world conduct agressive war against our German ally. Japan attacks. Mediocre results are achieved against the American fleet at Pearl Harbor. Singapore, Manila, Wake Is, and the Solomon Is are liberated.

As the United States enters the war, her immediate impact on the European theatre of operations is negligible. Only minor activity in the Middle East.

Japan - Summer 42: Imperial forces continue the race against time (yellow arrows). Japanese forces conduct a large anti-shipping campaign while seizing Midway, New Caledonia, the Gilberts Islands, Sumatra, and Borneo in an effort to shut down shipping to Australia. The Western Allies have shifted signicant reinforcments into the Southern Pacific (blue arrows). Japanese investors hope to see a massive German shipbuilding effort now that Russia is reeling. [:D]

Dobeln - Germany - Summer '42:

In a major redeployment of armor from the Moscow theatre to the west, the Wehrmacht capture Leningrad and the Baltics, securing the northern part of the Eastern front. A counterattack against Russian advances in the Stalingrad region is also launched.

Meanwhile, the Luftwaffe engages in a protracted campaign against RAF airfields in England, with some success. In the Med, OKW is worried about the growing Allied presence in Iraq, but local resources are insufficient to take action, following the failed offensive during the Spring.

End of Summer of '42. Western Allies find Japanese wherever they turn. Meanwhile, Europe is unassailable. A helpless feeling.
Japanese carrier fleet could be reached, but American strength not adequate yet to engage.

Japanese forces gather for assault towards India.
