Summer 1943:

Russia:

The 1000 years Reich seems already to look West for salvation. Italy is a beacon of hope in Europe to share the beautifull experience of joining the Communism Paradise. No one will say otherwise... anymore. [:-]

The pale attemtp from the Luftwaffe is useless as our armies are now concentrated to liberate Western Poland. Next turn will move us in sight of Berlin. [&o]

China:

What a wonderfull world...

W.Allies Summer 1943
Peace between China and Japan? What kind of nefarious Communist plot is this? Surely the proud and independent warriors of Chaing Mao-Shek are not kowtowing to Stalin already? It would appear that they are.

Knowing that the clock is ticking on the Soviet domination of Europe, the valiant Western armies plunge head first into W. Germany, hoping to end the war before Christmas (or August, whichever comes first). As you can see by the embedded screen, we were unsuccessful. Kudos to Rafael for knowing just how many troops to garrison the West with while holding off the Russian hoardes. We fell one unit short, doubtless due to the still weak firepower of our infantry.

In other news, Italy surrenders after Tripoli falls. The Russians control the entire boot. In the Pacific the Allies press forward cautiously, as most of our transports are engaged in Europe.

Germany Fa43

All forces retreat to the Fatherland waiting for the final onslaught [:@]
The WA have the chance to knock out Germany this turn and the next one before the Russian bear put its claws all over Europe, we rather have the Capitalists than the commies [;)]

Fall 1943:

Russia:

Germany is in full retreat.

Poland as been liberated, happiness is everywhere.

To continue our duty to free the world from tyranny the Red Army has destroyed the fascist government of Vichy following the popular revolt led by the resistance. Finland as again asked to be part of our great nation.

Persia has diplomatically requested our protection after a huge deployment of forces in Iraq threatening the stability of the whole region.

China:

Nothing to report.

W. Allies Fall 1943

I could have sworn I posted this already, but perhaps not.
The W.Allies take a look at Western Germany, but Rafael has juggled his garrisons well and the chances of victory are very low. To keep the Russians from overrunning the entire continent we content ourselves with wrapping up France and politely insisting that Spain join the cause of freedom and democracy.

We slowly push back the Japanese as well, though likely total victory in the Pacific will have to wait until Germany has bitten the dust.

Germany Wi44

You can smell it in the air, there's fear between what still are allies, the ruskies have back down and they don't seem they want to be first to take Germany, may they know better ..., instead they're attacking neutrals Findland, Persia, Southern France, but so are the W. Allies Spain was taken, so ones no longer can call themselves democrats and others never were [:D][:D].

On the military nothing really that could be done, still amazed the WA left those 4 TF in the Lower North Sea Region so my Luftwaffe boys could do some training exersices [8D][8D], railyards were also bombed deep in Russia, He111 crew reported increasingly AA defenses in all soviet regions [:@][:@]

Winter 1944:

Russia:

We are shocked by the sneak attack of the Allies against Spain. In the meantime Russian Intelligence did unveil an attempt from those so called democracies to turn as well against Norway, Sweden and Saudi Arabia. Stalin agreed to extend it's benevolent protection to those countries but indeed Sweden had a fascist military rebellion which prevented our troops to liberate this country fully.

Our armies are now ready to march against what's left of the 3rd Reich. Soon we will reach the Rhine and wait there for everlasting Peace.

China:

Whatever...

W. Allies Winter 1944

The Russians are seemingly bent more on world conquest than avenging the German attack on their soil. Soon I expect they will turn their eyes towards Berlin if only because there are no more lands to conquer. As we are still technically allied with the rampaging red hoardes, their gross violations of neutral territory affect us as well, as several S. American countries have shifted to pro-Axis in sympathy with the beleagured peoples of Scandinavia. (Note that due to Franco's genuine sympathy for the Nazis and rank atrocities committed during the Spanish Civil War we caused no such negative effects when we liberated Madrid.)

The European map is attached. The W. Allies prepare to liberate Germany, hoping all the while that the Germans will see the benefits to an American/British rule rather than a cruel Stalinist regime.

In the Pacific we build up forces for a push on Japan, but move cautiously until we have finished in Europe.

...

Nothing much that could be done, redeployed some forces trying to disuade the WA from attacking Festung W. Germany, since the soviets have taken off their mask and are more interested in violating neutralities, they don't seem very interested in finishing off Germany, so far so good, will try to boost production [:D]

Sweden was evacuated, no point in losing everything resources + units. [:@]

When due time comes will redeploy against the hated comunists, meanwhile the menace is coming from the west.

Turn forwarded to a511

W.Allies Spring '44
Sorry, posting out of sequence again. Rafael is just too fast.
The Russians continue to gobble up neutrals rather than attack Germany. Turkey and Sweden both fall under their thumb. This is what happens when they have the luxury of reaching Poland early. They don't even have troops within striking distance of Germany at the moment. With nothing else left to attack presumably they'll find the time to shoot at Germans sometime soon.

The lack of troops on Germany's borders has allowed Rafael to consolidate his forces and garrison W. Germany strongly. Even with a considerable Allied buildup we can't take the fortified territory, which actually gets stronger each turn. All I can say is I certainly hope that the Germans remember at the end of the day who they'd like to be occupied by.

The US can't move too aggressively in the Pacific until Europe is resolved. We continue to build up forces, but the Japanese are too strong to confront directly until our airpower is fully shifted over, as the accompanying screen shows. Still, even with my earstwhile ally's neutral-gobbling binge we should have time to dispatch Tojo before time runs out.

Nothing much to do as Germany, just shifting units from E. to W Germany until the Russian bear decides to set its claws on Deutschsland. You better hurry and try to knock me quick or once the ruskies are in position they probably are going to be first to enter Berlin. Kudos to Polonthi he is showing how to prepare for the aftermath.
