Turning a Crippled Galley

Post by DerJager »

Currently in Mare Notrvm, a galley that has had her oars raked on one side can make no further forward or backward progress, and may only turn in one direction. The limitation on forward and backward movement may well be accurate, but a galley should still be able to turn in both a clockwise and counterclockwise direction. Doing so is simply a matter of either rowing forward, or backward, with the intact bank of oars.

Just wanted to throw that out there for consideration in case there was ever an update to the game.

Yes. And though incredibly slow and clumsy, apparently you could shift half of the remaining oars to the other side.
