Just for reference, in case anybody still plays this nice game:

Mare Nostrum runs perfectly fine, on my iMac running High Sierra, using Wineskin with latest 64 bit engine (WS9Wine64Bit4.0-rc5). No special settings or tricks needed.

In fact, it plays smoother than in my Windows 7 installation [:D]
